Adinath Temple, Moheshkhali

Adinath Temple is dedicated to the Hindu God, Shiva, who is worshiped as Adinath. It is located on the summit of Mainak Hill on Moheshkhali Island off the coast of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. The temple is famous for the annual fair held in the month of Falgun as per the Bengali calendar which draws thousands of Hindus from all over Bangladesh. The fair takes place at the foot of Mainak Hill and lasts for 13 days.
