Remakri Khal

Written by admin

Remakri khal is a tributary of Sangu river in Thanchi upazila under Bandarban district and Chittagong division. For this reason, it is referred as a canal. This khal is named after Remakri union of the upazila. Water stream from Nafakhum Falls reaches Remakri canel. The water from the canal is extremely transparent as it is created by fountains from mountains. Remakri canal is shallow, rough and filled with small rocks. During monsoon and especially after rain, the water increases rapidly. Landscapes on both sides of the canal fascinate the tourists in every moment. This canal ends with Remakri Bazar.
