Although many places of the country are said to have Badar Shah Mazar, the main mazar is situated in Chittagong. Famous historian Abdul Karim mentioned this mazar as the oldest establishment in Chittagong in his book. Badar Shah came to this land almost 700 years ago. He was the leader of Baro Awliya. He came to Chittagong with the help of a huge rock and the three pieces of the rock are still preserved in the mazar.
