Located in Rangamati, Furomon Hill is a high hill with a height of 1,518 feet. While entering Rangamati town, it comes into view, which is located 7 km from the town. One can enjoy the unique beauty of Rangamati city by climbing to the top of this hill. After about 2 hours of walking along a winding hilly road, the beauty of Furmon awaits you. But refrain from making noise.


History:

The name Furoman Pahar, located in Sapachari Union near Rangamati town, derives its name from the Chakma language meaning "furious mind". The name of the hill is Furoman because the mind becomes happy at the top of the hill. Sunrise and sunset can be seen from here. There are artificial lakes and cloud hideaways. So the local administration is carrying out various plans to make this place a tourist attraction.

The secluded environment and vast waters of Kaptai Lake can be seen from the Furoman Hills. The natural beauty here will mesmerize you. A bird's eye view of the vast expanse of Kaptai Lake from the top of Furomon. Kaptai lake with blue water, clear blue water and wide sky can make you feel like you have reached the sea shore in the mountains. You can see the whole beauty in one eye. In the early winter morning you will see the clouds moving with the rising sun. South-west of the hill is the city of Chittagong, masts of ships floating in the harbour. All the natural beauty can be seen on the top of the hill.
