Description:

The height of Kirstang hill is approximately 2989 feet. It is 300 feet higher than Krishnatong-Rungrang in terms of elevation. Krishnatong has dense vegetation, which in some places is unable to reach sunlight. The game of clouds and sun continues.

This mountain has come to be known as Dhaneshpakhir mountain due to its unusual beauty, but currently Dhaneshpakhi is not found in the area. However, the beauty of this mountain has not diminished even later.


History:

The name Kirstang is anciently derived from the Marma word, a combination of 'Kirs' and 'Tong'. 'Kirs' is the name of an almost extinct bird, and these birds can be seen at the top of Kirstang. And 'Tang' means hill. Kirstang—the mountain where small birds fly. The height of the mountain where this little bird flies is about 2,950 meters.
