Pirojpur is a district of Barisal division. ‘Floating Market’ is located at Kuriana under Swarupkati upazila of Pirojpur. The market runs every Friday from May to November. Many farmers and wholesalers gather here and sell different types of fruits especially guava. It’s a two-kilometre-long marketplace and has different varieties of boats like “Panis” or “Pinis”, “Dingi” and “Naak Golui” available for sale.
