Zinda Park is an attractive resort and amusement park located in Narayanganj district of Bangladesh. The total area of the park is 100 bigha or 33 acres which has a community school and clinic each, beautiful aesthetic library, Eidgah and a restaurant.
The location of this beautiful park is 30 minutes or 40 km from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. There are more than 10,000 trees of 300 species, 5 natural reservoirs and numerous birdlife. Wherever you look around, the atmosphere of Subaj will impress you.
Zinda Park has 8 well equipped boats for its fleet. If you want to have a picnic or a day out with your family, you can safely choose Zinda Park. On the one hand, there is no ostentatious trouble in the park, which we usually see, just like the green surroundings.
History:
Agrapathik Palli Samiti" started its journey in 1980. Zinda Park was established in 1981 under the initiative of this organization. The total area of the park is 100 bighas, of which 60 bighas are given by Tabarak Hossain Kusum. Shantikanan was given its name at the beginning. Later the name was changed to Zinda Park. In the beginning the work started by setting up offices and a school. Gradually health centers, libraries and mosques were built.
The very different kind of park can be said to have been created without any government initiative. Zinda Park was not established for any commercial purpose. Courtesy of the lively participation of the locals, the park has been named keeping them in mind.
Attractions:
This park is said to be a special attraction for picnicking visitors. Zinda Park is open 7 days a week. Zinda Park is open from 9 am to 6 pm. If it is closed due to any special reason then the update is given on the official website.
Zinda Park entry fee is Tk 150 per person for adults and Tk 50 for children. Parking is available so you have to pay 50 to 100 taka. Library fee is Rs.10. If you want to go around the pond by boat, the cost is 200 taka for 30 minutes.
