Description:
Shah Mahmud Mosque is situated in Egarosindur village of Kishoreganj which was probably built around 1680. This is a square shaped mosque having each sides with a measurement of 5.79m. The mosque has a large dome at its top and it is surrounded by low walls and trees. The entrance to the mosque is rectangular and it has a duplex roof. There are four towers at the four corners and they are octagonal square in shape. The towers had small rooms and they were decorated with ornaments. The ornaments are still found in South tower. The eastern wall is decorated by terracota. There are three mihrabs on the western wall of the mosque, among which the middle one is octagonal and others are square shaped. There is a small pond at the eastern side of the mosque.
